How can this be? The party has been slain by the FOE...
In this world, there are great, sprawling natural mazes connected to giant trees: the Yggdrasil Labyrinths. These labyrinths are a siren's call to adventurers, whether they seek challenges, knowledge, treasure, or glory... Still, it's not without its dangers. Many explorers have tried to challenge the Labyrinth and have never returned. Each one (Etria, High Lagaard, Armoroad, Tharsis, Iorys, or anywhere else that could have one) has claimed many of the lives that have entered. As many great treasures and important resources can be found there, so are many vicious monsters--or worse, the dreadfully powerful FOEs.
... Maybe you're a citizen of one of the towns that sprung up around these great labyrinths, aiding or seeking aid from the adventurers. Or perhaps you're one of these explorers, seeking to conquer Yggdrasil, to uncover its mysteries...

1. Explorer's Guild - Well, every guild has to start somewhere! Are you signing on a new member? Dismissing an old one? Letting someone try a new class on for size? Well, hopefully there isn't too much paperwork... Or maybe you're the Guildmaster, dispensing bits of wisdom to explorers of every experience level, or helping newbies find their feet.
2. The Inn - Lots of tired explorers means places like inns absolutely make bank. Are you working there, making sure tired and injured explorers have a warm bed and a hot meal? Or are you one of the aforementioned tired and injured explorers after a long, hard day in the Labyrinth? Or maybe you're just killing time because it's not daylight or nightfall yet and you have a quest that requires finding something at whatever time it isn't.
3. Shopping! - Every explorer needs equipment, and every shop seeks to fill that need! Regardless of whether you're buying from Shilleka, Abigail, Edie, Wynne, Syrik, or anyone else, the equipment is the best you could ask for... if a little pricey. But quality is the important thing, right? These shops also buy raw materials, so maybe you're here to drop off whatever load of monster giblets you brought back this time... Whatever you do, just don't forget to buy an Ariadne Thread!
4. Should You Choose to Accept It - Of course, all guilds answer to the local government, whoever it may be. Often, they task explorers with missions to prove their mettle... Are you here to accept one of said missions? Or are you reporting a job well done?
5. The Bar - There's certainly a place known for having the best drinks in town, but if you're an explorer, there's a good chance that's not what you're here for. There's one bar in any Yggdrasil town where an explorer can pick up a little extra work here and there: little favors for the townspeople that come with their own rewards, mostly, whether it's "fetch some of this particular thing" or "defeat that kind of monster". Of course, some explorers choose to hang around to pass on advice to anyone who will listen... Not that it's always good or particularly useful advice.
6. Time to Explore - Whether it's in the Labyrinth itself or some nearby
7. Even in your memes, FOE! - ... What, you didn't think this would get its own prompt? Even if you aren't in the fandom, you probably know how this one goes. There's a big monster emanating an aura of dread over that way that could probably eat your face. You should probably run. Even if it's a deer. Especially if it's a deer.
